He serves as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Research, University of Malawi, where he leads baseline studies and impact evaluations, supervises Master's students, and mentors early-career researchers. During his tenure, he managed major donor-financed investments, including the Multisectoral Nutrition Project and Malawi's national Social Cash Transfer Programme, one of the country's flagship social protection initiatives. He also coordinated evaluations in collaboration with partners such as UNICEF, the European Union, and the Government of Ireland. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Malawi and has extensive expertise in quantitative research design, impact evaluation, STATA and SPSS analysis, and results-based management. His work focuses on bridging rigorous evidence with practical policymaking while fostering strong partnerships with government institutions, development partners, and non-governmental organizations. He is equally committed to mentoring the next generation of researchers and strengthening evidence-informed development practice. He welcomes opportunities to collaborate with researchers, development practitioners, and partners advancing evidence-based social impact across Africa.
