Temwa completed an MSc Finance at Oxford Brookes University in 2021 and MSc Mathematical and Computational Finance at University of Oxford in 2020. She was part of the team that worked on the Malawi Economic Monitor: Harnessing the Urban Economy in 2017. Her research interest include human capital valuation, financial risk management , option valuation and hedging.
