My research interests are in Language Development and Empowerment focusing on development of scientific terminologies using indigenous knowledge. I also do research on Language and Education focusing on local language policy development and implementation for Primary Education. Other research areas are Language and Health, Literature and Politics, Translation as a cross-cultural communication process, Language and the Media and Lexicography.,
