Profile

A holder of a Master's degree in Translation (English/French) from the Advanced School of Translators and Interpreters (ASTI) of the University of Buea in Cameroon, Boniface Dokotala also has a Bachelor's degree in Education (Humanities) from the University of Malawi. He joined the Department of French of the University of Malawi in January 2015, and he teaches in Translation and Interpreting studies, African Literature (Francophone), and French Literature, among others. His areas of specialisation include: nineteenth-century African literature (francophone), particularly, feminist writings; retranslation; translation pedagogy.
