Laboratory Technician (Chemistry)

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties

• Preparation of laboratory classes
• Provision of high level support to undergraduate, postgraduate, staff research projects and the Industrial Consultancy Unit
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Department
• Successful candidates should be prepared to work during evenings and weekends when need arises

Qualifications

Applicants should have a diploma in Laboratory Technology specialising in chemistry plus at least 2 years relevant experience.
