Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/ Professor in Chemistry Education
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill, on contract basis, the post of Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/ Professor in Chemistry Education existing in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching Studies at Chancellor College.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants at Lecturer level must be holders of a first degree in Education (with credit or distinction) majoring in Chemistry plus a Masters or Doctorate Degree in Chemistry Education, with a minimum of two years teaching experience at a recognized University or an equivalent institution. Those seeking the Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/ Professor levels must provide evidence of their research experience as well as appropriate number of publications (either books or articles in refereed journals).
Duties
The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching of Chemistry Education courses at all levels, carry out research in Chemistry Education, supervise students’ teaching practice and research projects, be part of academic consultants within the broader areas of the department, and participate in outreach activities.
