Qualifications and Attributes
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Candidates applying for the Lecturer position must hold a Master’s or PhD in Mathematics, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a minimum award of credit.

For the post of Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, or Professor, candidates must have a strong record of publications in their field of expertise and demonstrate initiative in research, community outreach, and engagement in addition to meeting the required minimum qualifications listed above.
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be undertaking the following duties:

Teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students;

Conducting research in their area of specialization as well as within the broader areas of the department;

Participating in Departmental, School, and University committee meetings;
-
Participating in outreach and consultancy services within the broader areas of the department; and
-
Carrying out any duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department/ Executive Dean of the School.
