Qualifications & Attributes
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria regarding bar admission and educational qualifications:

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer
-
Must have been admitted to the bar for a minimum of 10 years.

Must hold at least an Upper Second-Class Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree.

Must possess a Master's Degree in Law (LLM) from a recognized university.

Associate and/or Professor
-
Must have been admitted to the bar for at least 10 years.
-
Must possess a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree, a Master's Degree in Law (LLM), and a PhD from a recognized university.

Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidates will be expected to carry out the following duties among others,
-
Initiate and conduct research in their area of specialization.
-
Participate in community outreach and engagement activities.
-
Contribute to all academic and professional activities within the department.
-
Deliver clinical and experiential legal education across all levels.
-
Lecture in at least two or more of the following courses:
-
Law of Evidence
-
Legislative Drafting
-
Clinical Legal Education
-
Revenue Law
