Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/ Professor in Testing and Measurement
University of Malawi invites applications from interested and suitably qualified persons for the challenging and demanding academic position in the Department of Education Foundations tenable at the University of Malawi. There is only one position at Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor or Professor level in Testing and Measurement.
Qualifications
Applicants for Lecturer must have at least a Master of Education Degree in Testing and Measurement plus a Bachelor of Education Degree with CREDIT or DISTINCTION obtained from a university recognized by the National Council of Higher Education (NCHE).
Applicants at Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor or Professor level should provide evidence of their publications in peer reviewed journals (3 for Senior lecturer, 5 for Associate Professor and 8 for Professor).
Duties
The successful candidate should be able to:

Teach Item Response Theory, Classical Theory of Measurement, Multi-Dimensional Scaling, Fundamentals of Test Construction and Educational Statistics.

Supervise postgraduate Students in Testing, Measurement and Evaluation.

Supervise students on teaching practice,

Carry out research, consultancies and outreach activities;
