Qualifications and Attributes
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Candidates applying for the Lecturer position must hold a Master’s or PhD in Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline, along with a Bachelor's degree with a minimum award of credit.

For the post of Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, or Professor, candidates must have a strong record of publications in their field of expertise and demonstrate initiative in research, community outreach, and engagement in addition to meeting the required minimum qualifications listed above.

Those with leadership skills, evidence of creativity, community engagement and capacity to mobilise resources will have an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:

Teaching, setting and timely marking of examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Conducting research in the area of specialisation.

Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate student projects within the Department.

Participating in all academic and professional activities of the Department.

Initiating research projects.

Initiating and participating in resource mobilisation activities.
-
Carrying out any duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Teaching and research interests for Human Resource Management will include Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Industrial Relations, Marketing Principles, Research Methods, Strategic Management and Planning and Theories and Practice of Management.
