LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR /PROFESSOR IN ECONOMICS (ONE POST)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill a vacant post within the Department of Economics at Chancellor College at the grade levels of lecturer or above who will be teaching quantitative courses.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants for the post should be holders of at least a Masters degree in Economics. Additionally, applicants must possess the first degree in Economics with at least a credit. Applicants with university teaching and research experience will have an added advantage.

Duties

• Teaching various courses at undergraduate level

• Supervising research projects of undergraduate students.

• Contributing to departmental research activities.

• Participating in outreach programs of the College.

The department is particularly welcoming applications from excellent candidates with a strong focus in econometric theory and statistics. Applicants should demonstrate ability in conducting research in econometric methods and possession of advanced knowledge of econometric software. The applicants should, by the deadline for submission of the application, be less than forty (40) years old.
