LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER/PROFESSOR IN CLOTHING AND TEXTILES

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the post of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Professor in Clothing and Textiles in the Department of Human Ecology.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must possess a Master’s Degree or PhD in Science, Bachelor of Science degree with Credit and relevant experience in teaching and research. Those with bachelor’s degree with distinction will have an added advantage.

DUTIES

• Teaching and assessing undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Introduction to Clothing and Textiles, Clothing and Textiles, Interior and Exterior Design, and Fundamentals of fashion.

• Conducting relevant research and publishing.

• Providing technical expertise to relevant stakeholders.

• Carrying out relevant academic and administrative responsibilities assigned from time to time.

• Supervising research projects of undergraduate and post graduate students.

• Participating in outreach activities of the College.
