STAFF ASSOCIATE/LECTURER/SENIOR ECTURER/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/PROFESSOR IN SOCIAL HISTORY

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Staff Associate/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor in Social History tenable at Chancellor College.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should be persons who have a minimum qualification of a relevant Bachelor’s degree with at least credit from a recognized institution. Those with an MA or a PhD in History will have added advantage.

Duties

• Teaching various courses at undergraduate level Social History

• Supervising research projects of undergraduate students.

• Contributing to departmental research activities.

• Participating in outreach programs of the College.

The successful applicant will also be required to conduct research in African Economic History, Labour History, International Relations, Cultural History, Intellectual History, and Historical Research Methods at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
