STAFF ASSOCIATE/LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/PROFESSOR IN EALRY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Staff Associate/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor in Early Childhood Development.

Qualifications & Attributes

Applicants must possess a relevant Master’s Degree and relevant experience in teaching and research. Those with a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with a distinction or credit and relevant teaching and research experience will also be considered.

Duties

Successful candidates for this position will be undertaking the following duties:

1. Teaching, setting and timely marking of examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Human Development, Early Learning Theories, Child Care and Well-being, and Developmental Assessment of Young Children.

2. Conducting research in the area of specialization

3. Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate student’s projects within the Department.

4. Participating in all academic and professional activities of the Department

5. Carrying out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
