Profile
Dr Bright Molande is a Senior Lecturer in Literature with specialization in postcolonial theory, African tragedy, literary theory, critical theory and a published poet with expertise in speech writing. He is the Dean of Humanities Emeritus and a one-time Vice Principal of Chancellor in the University of Malawi as it was then. Dr. Molande has also served as Executive Assistant to the President of Malawi-- President Professor Peter Mutharika, including serving as a Presidential Speech Writer as Director of Communication for the President after also serving as Director of Information for Malawi Government. Dr Molande is a well-published scholar and globally cited by other scholars around the world.
