Profile

Harvey Madalitso Chilembwe, is a Chief Cartographer in the Geography Earth Science and Environment (GESE) department. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Land Surveying obtained in 2013 from the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences. Currently I am studying towards a Master of science in Geography and Earth Sciences. I also licensed Remotely Piloted Aircraft pilot by the Department of Civil Aviation of Malawi. My work involves demonstrating practical skills to students in GIS, Remote Sensing, Cartographer and Surveying. I also assist members of academic members of staff and postgraduate students in research requiring my services. My research interest mainly focuses on environmental change detection and its impacts on biodiversity.
