Profile

Macneil Kalowekamo is a seasoned media and development communication practitioner with over 10 years of work experience in the Malawi government and the international development sector. He holds an MSc in Communication for Development from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom and a BA in Communication and Cultural Studies from the University of Malawi. Throughout his career, Macneil has demonstrated a keen interest in participatory and rural communication, communication for development, and digital communication. His research interests lie at the intersection of these areas, focusing on exploring innovative communication strategies to empower rural communities, promote social inclusion, and facilitate sustainable development.
