Chief Laboratory Technician

Applicants should have a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent specializing in Chemistry.

Duties and Responsibilities

 The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties

• Preparation of laboratory classes

• Supervision of technical and support staff

• Management of chemistry laboratories and inventories of both chemical and equipment stores

• Provision of high level support to undergraduate, postgraduate, staff research projects and the Industrial Consultancy Unit

• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Department

Successful candidates should be prepared to work during evenings and weekends when need arises.
