The Faculty of Law at Chancellor College will launch a book entitled “Water is Life: Women’s Human Rights in National and Local Water Governance in Southern and Eastern Africa”.

The book is a result of a three year regional research project on Human Rights and Gender Dimensions of Water Governance in Africa: Actors, Norms and Institutions. This was a collaborative research project by the University of Oslo, the University of Zimbabwe, the University of Nairobi, Strathmore University, the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) in South Africa and the University of Malawi in particular members of the Faculty of Law, and Department of Political and Administrative Studies.
