Instructor /Lecturer /Senior Lecturer in Computer Science Department

Qualifications

Applicants must be holders of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer science (with credit) from a recognized institution, with distinction grades in Computer Science. Applicants for the post of lecturer or above should have a Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics or computing from a recognized institution (The first degree should be with Credit)

Duties and responsibilities

Successful candidates for academic positions will be undertaking the following duties:

1. Teaching, setting and timely marking examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate students

2. Conducting research in their area of specialisation

3. Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate student projects within the Department

4. Participating in all academic and professional activities of the Department

5. Being part of academic consultants within the broader areas of the department
