Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/ Professor in Economics

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill a vacant post within the Department of Economics at the University of Malawi at the grade levels of lecturer or above who will be teaching quantitative courses.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Applicants for the post should be holders of at least a Masters degree in economics.

Additionally, applicants must possess the first degree in economics with at least a credit.

Applicants with university teaching and research experience will have an added advantage.

The department is particularly welcoming applications from excellent candidates with a strong focus in econometric theory and statistics. Applicants should demonstrate ability in conducting research in econometric methods and possession of advanced knowledge of econometric software.
