LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/PROFESSOR IN STATISTICS

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor in Statistics.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess a Master’s Degree or PhD in Statistics, with a Bachelor’s degree with credit. Those with teaching experience at a University or comparable institution, leadership skills and some evidence of research and service to the community and the profession will have an added advantage.

Duties

Successful candidates for this position will be undertaking the following duties:

1. Teaching, setting and timely marking of examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate courses

2. Conducting research in the area of specialization

3. Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate student’s projects within the Department.

4. Participating in all academic and professional activities of the Department

5. Carrying out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
