Public Law and Clinical Legal Education Department is looking for two candidates to fill the posts of Assistant Lecturer/ Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/ Professor
Qualifications
1. Applicants for the post of Assistant Lecturer must hold a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) Upper Second Class from a recognized University.
2. Applicants for the post of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer must hold at least a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) Upper Second-Class degree and a Master's Degree in Law (LLM) from a recognized University.
3. Applicants for the post Associate and Professor positions must hold at least a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) Upper Second-Class degree, a Master's Degree in Law (LLM) and a PhD from a recognized University.
Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidates will be expected to carry out the following duties among others, to initiate and conduct research in the area of specialisation, participate in community outreach and participate in all academic and professional activities of the department including deliver clinical and experiential legal education at all levels and, to lecture two or more of the following courses:
Legal Research; Jurisprudence; Drafting; Constitutional Law; Clinical Legal Education and Revenue Law.
