Instructor/ Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in Law (Foundational Law)
Qualifications
Applicants must be holders of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree, Second Class Upper. Applicants for the position of a Lecturer should hold a Master’s Degree or a Doctorate degree in law from a recognized University. (The first degree should be with credit.)
Preference will be given to candidates who are able to teach the the following courses; Commercial Law, Private International Law, Environmental Law, Intellectual Property Rights Law, The Law of Contract, Property Law, The Law of Trusts and The Law of Business Organizations.
Duties and responsibilities
Successful candidates for academic positions will be undertaking the following duties:

Teaching, setting and timely marking examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate students

Conducting research in their area of specialisation

Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate student projects within the Department

Participating in all academic and professional activities of the Department

Being part of academic consultants within the broader areas of the department
