Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Philosophy
The Department of Philosophy invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant post of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Philosophy.
Qualifications and Attributes
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Master of Arts in Philosophy or Master of Arts in Applied Ethics, with a strong background in the core areas of Philosophy (Logic, Metaphysics, Epistemology, Ethics, and Social and Political Philosophy).

Leadership skills, including ability to teach and mentor others, integrity, dependability, and team building skills.
Duties
Specific duties shall include, but will not be limited to:

Teaching, setting and timely grading of examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Conducting research in the area of specialisation.

Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects within the department.

Participating in all academic and professional activities of the department.

Initiating research projects.
-
Initiating and participating in resource mobilization activities.
-
Carrying out other relevant duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
