PLUMBER
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the post of Plumber tenable at Chancellor College, Maintenance Section.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should have Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) and minimum Grade 2 National Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing from a recognized Institution. Those with City and Guilds Certificate or Advanced Craft Certificate will have an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in plumbing works.
DUTIES

To provide regular plumbing services.

To provide necessary materials estimated required for particular plumbing works.

To carry out plumbing works professionally in liaison with contractors.

Advising management through the Liaison Officer (Buildings) on the best possible solutions to tackle complicated plumbing works.

To account for all plumbing materials procured for particular works.

To ensure that quality plumbing services are timely offered.

To supervise sewerage and other urgent waste-disposal problems.

To give monthly reports on all works done.
