Qualifications & Attributes

Applicants should possess the following qualification and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Records Management or relevant field

  • 6 years relevant work experience in a comparable setting

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Providing input in the development and review of existing University records management systems; policies, strategies and regulations

  2. Monitoring and implementing records management policies, strategies, systems and regulations for the University;

  3. Processing, preservation, and disposition of print and electronic official university records

  4. Creating and maintaining database to ensure quick retrieval of information;

  5. Auditing information created and presented for storage;

  6. Organizing training to staff on records management and use;

  7. Managing all aspects of records transfer and disposal;

  8. Managing risks associated with University records;

  9. Producing consolidated records index for the University
