Staff Associate/Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer in Fine Arts

Applicants must have at least a Bachelor of Arts Humanities or Bachelor of Education, with Credit, obtained from a recognised institution.Applicants must demonstrate the ability to teach a variety of modules offered in the Fine Arts such as Art History, Painting and Drawing, Sculpture and Ceramics. Applicants must further prepare a portfolio of their existing art works. Those with teaching experience at tertiary level will have an added advantage.

Duties

1. Teaching, setting and timely marking examinations for undergraduate courses.

2. Conducting research in the area of specialisation.

3. Supervising undergraduate student projects within the Department.

4. Participating in all academic and professional art exhibitions within the Department and elsewhere.

5. Being part of academic consultants within the broader areas of the Department.

6. Organising student exhibitions.

7. Carrying out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
