TV AND RADIO STATION OFFICER
Purpose of the job
To oversee the business, technical, and administrative aspects of UNIMA’s TV and Radio station.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Providing strategic business leadership to the station;

Act as an executive producer of programmes and key marketer;

Supervise and coordinate the schedules, workflow, and responsibilities of various departments;

Training, and evaluating employees, as well as providing communication between departments and other human resource functions;

Responsible for the success and profitability of the station;
-
Working with finance department to track purchases, cash flow, and profits;
-
Preparing budget and maintaining accountability;
-
Developing and implementing fund-raising initiatives;
-
Proficient technical knowledge to understand the operations of all station equipment.

Compliance with broadcasting regulations and other laws;
-
Developing and implementing sales and marketing plans;

Education Qualification and Experience
-
Master’s and bachelors’ degree in a relevant field from a institution accredited or recognized under the National Council of Higher Education Act and a professional qualification on a relevant field.
-
5 years’ experience at senior management level
