Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor in Drama and Theatre Studies (2-year contract)

Applicants must possess the following:

1. BA degree with credit in drama and theatre studies

2. Masters Degree or Ph.D. in Drama and Theatre Studies from a recognized institution. 

3. A track record of publications, academic paper presentation, public performance, research and consultancies

Applicants must be able to teach various Drama and Theatre Studies modules. Candidates with a strong background in the theoretical and practical dimensions of Drama and Theatre Studies theatre and those with university teaching experience will have an added advantage. Applicants must further prepare an up-to-date creative portfolio of their work.

 Duties

Successful candidates shall be expected to perform the following duties:

1. Teaching, setting and timely marking examinations for undergraduate courses.

2. Engaging in the development of curricula 

3. Conducting research, consultancies and publishing in the area of expertise.

4. Supervising student dissertations.

5. Participating and presenting in academic seminars, concerts and outreach programmes.

6. Preparing students for academic assessment performances at least twice every semester.

7. Performing any other academic and official duties as may be assigned from time to time.
